Stonecreek Christian Church is a non-denominational church that was established in 1988.  After ten years of meeting in various homes and schools, God brought us to Rancho Santa Margarita in 1998.  At this time, we changed our name from Valley Vista to Stonecreek as a memorial to God's great power in providing for our church.  Joshua 4:21, 24 says, "In the future when your descendants ask their fathers, 'What do these stones mean?' ... Tell them He did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the Lord is powerful ..."

"Jesus came to seek and save the lost, as His body on earth and Stonecreek's soul purpose must be to this end. The PLUS ONE vision for Stonecreek in 2008 will be to exhaust ourselves in seeking, influencing, and helping the lost to find Jesus as Lord.  This will be a church-wide, every day, every week, and every month goal ? everything we do will be punctuated with this purpose.  God has saved us for such a time and effort as this.  It matters not what lies behind us, only what lies ahead of us.  PLUS ONE is Jesus' heartbeat."
